Used Golf Ball Quality & Grading Standards

Clear specifications. Actual product condition. Consistent B2B sorting.

Actual A1 GOLF warehouse with bulk used golf ball inventory and forklift

Introduction

A1 GOLF sorts used golf balls according to product type, condition and intended use.

Because used golf ball grading terminology can vary between suppliers and countries, we believe buyers should evaluate the actual condition and agreed specification rather than rely only on labels such as A, B or C Grade.

For B2B transactions, product specifications are discussed with the buyer before regular supply is established.

01 · Intended Use

Grading Based on Intended Use

Different buyers require different types of used golf balls.

A1 GOLF prepares supply according to the intended use of the product.

01

Premium Resale

Higher-condition used golf balls intended for resale markets where appearance and cosmetic condition are important.

02

Wholesale & Distribution

Used golf balls sorted according to the agreed brand, model and condition requirements for wholesale distribution.

03

Original used golf balls selected as raw material for professional refinishing operations.

Cosmetic wear may be acceptable depending on the agreed specification, while serious structural defects are removed during sorting.

Other used golf ball grades and mixed products may be available depending on inventory and buyer requirements.

Availability should be confirmed before ordering.

04 · Inventory Verification

Actual Product Photos

Actual inventory photos for product verification.

For B2B inquiries, actual inventory photos can be used to help buyers evaluate available product condition.

Where appropriate, product verification can include:

  • Overall view of the available lot
  • Close-up view of surface condition
  • Brand and model mix examples
  • Cosmetic wear examples
  • Packing condition
  • Bulk inventory view

Do not imply that every individual golf ball in a bulk shipment will be photographed or individually approved.

05 · Agreed Standards

Buyer-Specific Specifications

There is no universal grading standard used by every company in the global used golf ball industry.

For this reason, A1 GOLF encourages professional buyers to clearly define their requirements before establishing regular supply.

Specifications may include:

  • Brand and model
  • Intended use
  • Acceptable cosmetic condition
  • Excluded defects
  • Quantity
  • Packing requirements
  • Purchase frequency
  • Destination country or port

The agreed specification becomes the basis for sorting and supply.
